“Save Some” is the brand new single and transatlantic collaboration between Norwegian R&B/neo soul band D’Sound and R&B legend Macy Gray. D’Sound wrote this funky summer track with Macy Gray and Autumn Rowe (who wrote the mega hit “Salt” with Ava Max) during the pandemic and recorded it in Oslo and LA. The single is now out on radio in two different versions: “Save Some” single version and “Save Some” (ZIDA Remix).
“Save Some” and the official music video will be out Friday 28th May and “Save Some” (ZIDA Remix) will be out Friday 11th June on all streaming and download services.
This summer marks the 25th anniversary for D’Sound’s debut single “Real Name” that came out in 1996 and early next year it’s 25 years since their debut album “Spice of Life” launched their international career. The anniversary celebration will include a string of new singles from their upcoming album starting in May with “Save Some” featuring Grammy winner Macy Gray. All of the new singles will be collaborations with great artists, songwriters and musicians. D’Sound is currently recording their ninth studio album “25” that will be out in January 2022.
D’ Sound consists of Kim Ofstad (drums) and Jonny Sjo (bass). They are well known songwriters, producers and musicians who has worked with both local Norwegian artists and international artists like CeeLO Green, Jason Derulo and Akon. D’Sound are the winners of the Norwegian Grammy award and has for 25 years been considered among the best live bands in Scandinavia. Over the years they have been building a fan base in many countries, mainly in Europe, North America and SE/NE Asia. Kim and Jonny also produced Norwegian duo Madcon’s huge European hit “Beggin” and Kim wrote and produced their European megahit “Glow”.
The new Norwegian EDM producer duo ZIDA produced the remix for “Save Some”. The remix is now out on radio and will officially be released Friday 11th June. ZIDA follows in the musical footsteps of other successful Norwegian EDM artists like SEEB, Kygo, Cashmere Cat, Matoma and Alan Walker. ZIDA is Christoffer Simpson and David Michelsen and they have been making music together since 2015 in their studio not so far from the capital Oslo. Earlier they have remixed the artist project Rat City and this May they also released their own single “Cry For Me”.

SWEDISH DJ CHRIS TALL RELEASES HIS 6TH SINGLE “Dancin’ Alive”. A retro-futuristic dance track filled with empowered sensuality. More than 90.000 streams on spotify
Nu-Disco producer Chris Tall releases his new single Dancin’ Alive, featuring MLK, often mistaken for “Robyn” cause of their similarities in voices and expression.
Dancin’ Alive’s message is to never give up on that feeling of losing yourself to the music and dance yourself away into happiness. The cinematic backdrop and V8 motor like bassline clings to the bangin’ 80s, while MLK´s youthful vocals favor an empowered sensuality.
The result resonates with something that could have come straight out of the world of “Stranger Things”. This is also reflected in the music video, released on the 1th of April, where a group of outcasts escape through dance & movement in an unknown underworld as a backdrop for their sensual retro-futuristic performance.
Chris Tall´s signature sound deftly reaches across disco, electro and pop. His music has been frequently played over dance floors all over the world and his previous release “Roller Skater” was picked as the 4th most important track of 2016 by the music blog “MyMusicIsBetterThanYoursSite”.
Vorwerk introduces a new summer love Dance anthem. A happy and uplifting tune which features a catchy piano melody together with brilliant vocals.
His tracks are catchy, danceable and the lyrics invite to sing along. The Emmental (CH) DJ and producer BAzzJoke releases his next catchy dance-tune “Kings & Queens” on June 4th. This song is about starting a new chapter in life. With the upcoming completion of his apprenticeship, something new / something uncertain begins for BAzzJoke. Now he finally can make a difference and begin to make history. Alongside the well known bass parts, Jonas E. Gluch underlined the work perfectly with his violin.
